You almost want to give A-Ron some credit for trying to build a t-shirt company after losing aNYthing to his scrupulous investors, but then you see the collection and wish he just stood hiding out at the Bowery Mission.
Off Bowery Productions recently previewed their new “collection” and it looks, um, like shit.
Key pieces include LES-centric rehashing of standard Times Square tourist trap tees, promo shirts for bands you’ll never care to hear (who the fuck are the Rich Girls) and garments asking questions that no one in New York City has asked since Rudy was mayor.
The line drops on April Fool’s Day, so hopefully these lackluster “designs” are part of an elaborate joke and not another attempt by a streetwear line trying to relive NYC’s grittier days.
Sip your Starbucks and get over it.
Everyone else has.
