I like to make it well-known that I like to have a drink every now and then. And with Halloween crawling ever so close, there’s no better time to soak your troubles in the cooling springs of alcohol. But after a while, drinking bathtub gin directly out of the tub can feel, oh I don’t know, not so glamorous. Luckily, I attended a vodka tasting — or as I like to call it, dinner — with Russian Standard on Wednesday and had love at first sip with the Moscow Mule. So, I brought in a bottle of Russian Standard into the office to share with my booze-loving fellow editors. Shortly thereafter the bottle was completely empty and it being only 2pm the rest of the day was basically a crapshoot. We did, however, document our mixological process so you too can hitch a ride on the Mule.
First things first: the ingredients. All you’ll need is some ginger beer, some Russian Standard and a lime. The lime is not pictured as our intrepid intern had not yet returned from the little lady with the cart on the corner.
