I’ve always looked at tourist in NY with a bit of envy. After a few years in this city (actually my whole life) the factors that make it so amazing to some seem to just fade into the background. Times Square starts looking like a big advertisement, the Empire State Building like another skyscraper, and Lady Liberty looks as appealing as the one night stand you can’t seem to stop bumping into at your favorite bar.
