McQueen Intern Makes Monumental Menswear

Nov 05, 2012 - by Jessica Lapidos

With optic prints and multi-proportioned silhouettes, Marius Petrus is giving menswear something to shout about. It's loud, yet completely pulled together in the austere tradition of Western male adornment. Where sportswear and high tech converge with classic tailoring and detailed finishing, you'll find 23-year-old Marius Op 'T Eynde at the helm of this new label. Because he really couldn't find any clothing out there that he wanted to wear, he made his own.

Marius knew the arts were his calling since he could hold a pencil, but during art school at Artez Hogeschool Voor De Kunsten in Belgium, he discovered that his medium was fashion. After internships at Alexander McQueen menswear and Raf Simons, he took off with his own brand. See our favorite looks of his from Spring '13.
