Azealia Banks and Her Alter Ego Team up with M.A.C. Cosmetics

Controversial female rapper Azealia Banks is not only famous for her banned Dazed & Confused cover. Now the internet sensation is going mainstream with a new lipstick from M.A.C. named after her alter ego, Yung Rupunxel.
Rapper and overall female bad-a** Azealia Banks is taking the fashion world by storm. With her gracing the cover of the September issue of Spin, Dazed & Confused (only in some countries), and August's cover of Vibe, the indie starlet should be an underground sensation no more.
Last year fellow female rapper Nicki Minaj scored a collaboration with M.A.C. Cosmetics with her Pink Friday shade of lipstick and Miss Banks looks to be following suit. The singer has a free performance during Fashion's Night Out on September 6th at the M.A.C. store in SoHo that coincides with the release of her exclusive lipstick color "Yung Rapunxel".
The dark plum matte shade will be available for purchase on September 5th and if you're in New York City, there's no reason as to why you shouldn't be at the free concert in SoHo. And with Banks' reported collaborations with rapper Kanye West as he puts the final touches on 'Cruel Summer', which is due to be out on September 18th, it looks like those 7 countries are going to be missing Miss Banks' face a little bit more more than they were offended by her inflated pink condom.
