Fashion's latest darling is no doubt Azealia Banks. The raptress is a favorite of Karl Lagerfeld, performing at Chanel's The Little Black Jacket launch party, and has been taken under the professional styling wings of Nicola Formichetii. The 20-year-old will soon have her official coming out party when she performs at this year's Costume Institute Met Gala. 

Banks previously tweeted that she would attend the annual ball on the birdlike arm of Alexander Wang: "I cant wait for the MET ball! Im going as Alexander Wangs date. He custom made my outfit and shoes ! !!!! Its soooo hot !"

Then yesterday she revealed, also via tweet, that Cinderella/Rapunxel was not only going to the ball but also werqing the ball: "Ive Been invited to Perform for PRADA next week in NYC! Gonna b so lush !! Lets see what new songs I debut there!#metball2012"

Both posts have since disappeared but a tweet's not like a regrettable one-night stand you can pretend never happened. It's more like the resulting venereal disease that will haunt you for the rest of your days.
