Change Starts With Your Underwear, and That's a PACT
Jun 06, 2012 - by Amanda Gabriele
We usually don't think about our underwear in terms of how it gives back to the community, but maybe it's time to consider what your skivvies are doing for the environment. Luckily, two good friends - Jason Kibbey and Jeff Denby - made a PACT to create positive change with their brand, and do-gooding has never looked cuter.
With t-shirts, undies and socks for men and women, PACT only sources fabrics according to the highest environmental standards and strives to minimize its footprint wherever possible during production and distribution. The brand is committed to its partnerships with 10 social and environmental projects that work to make a positive impact on the world. Not only are PACT pieces made with 95% organic cotton and 5% elastane, the bold and beautiful prints and colors are created with dyes exclusive of metals and bleaches. When there is "more air than fabric" in your PACT pair and it's time to purge, simply send the piece back to the company where they take it to a recycling center to be made into insulation. How socially responsible is that?
