Charlotte Free is the pink-haired muse of the fashion industry with a song in her heart. Before she was signed, she dreamed of pursuing a career in music and now she's jumping in head first. 

Model Charlotte Free originally planned on becoming a musician, but after signing with IMG Models her plans got deferred. The model is the current face of Maybelline and stars alongside Ellie Goulding and Azealia Banks in the ASOS Christmas campaign. But now that she's established her name in fashion, she is casting her gaze towards the music industry.

Charlotte explained to UK Vogue  that, "I've been making electronic music in my head for as long as I can remember. I've got my MacBook and my workstation and I'm going to learn how to produce, and once I do that, hopefully it will take off. I'm so inspired by kids doing their own thing, making something for themselves, that attitude - I wanted to do something so I did. There are people who do it without help, who go out and follow their dreams. If you know what you want, you can have it if you believe in yourself. I'm not ever going to function in a real job, I've always known that.

The 19-year old model still has a lot of things to experience in life, so taking a note from fellow model Agyness Deyn, the young star is off to pursue her true passion.

But don't think that Charlotte has taken her highly successful modeling career for granted. The highlight so far according to her would be opening the Vivienne Westwood autumn/winter 2011-12 Red Label show. She explains, "It was so cool - the biggest deal. I came out to When The Levee Breaks by Led Zeppelin, which is one of my favourite songs of all time. I had my friends in the audience, and I loved my dress.

We are proud to see Charlotte branching out, considering how much effort it takes to make modeling a career. At only 19 it's refreshing to see such a high degree of drive, taking into account most girls her age are getting drunk with keggers and kids until they hit their mid twenties.
