Style Guru |stahyel gooroo| (noun): ambitious, goal-orientated college student who captures street style photography of fashionistas across his or her campus and creates trend reports based on findings. Synonym: Awesome resume builder.

Founded in 2009 by the lovely Amy Levin, CollegeFashionista  is a fashion website that focuses on street style fashion at more than 300 college campuses worldwide. Students all around apply to be a Style Guru and contribute by posting about trends seen around their own campus, as well as participate in monthly Twitter chats with fashion industry influencers. They also have the opportunity to work on brand campaigns and organize local fashion events.

The internship runs from the week of August 20th- December 28th and is unpaid, but credit can be received and is encouraged. In other words, if you want to brighten up your resume, register and send your resume to [email protected] before the July 20th deadline. All you need is a camera (SLR recommended) and an eye for fashion!
