Cure Your Headache With Reflexology
Jul 09, 2012 - by Zosia Baroody
Got a headache? What if we told you it's possible to massage it away? We call it magic, professionals call it Reflexology. Either way, it works. See how after the jump.
Reflexology is all about pressure points. By massaging and stretching specific spots on your hands and feet, you can alleviate tension by clearing energy blocking crystalline deposits under the skin. For example, if your head won't stop aching, try massaging the area below your pointer and middle fingers. Shoulders bothering you? Massage the spot below your pinky fingers and toes.
The great thing about reflexology is that the pressure points are all in easy to reach locations, so you can give yourself your own massage session (Though it's always more effective going to a professional masseuse!). Lotions and oils are not necessary, but if you want to get a deeper massage, try using a golfball.
Reflexology is also helpful with:
- De-stressing after a long day
- Improving circulation throughout your body
- Rebalancing your body
- Strengthening your immune system
- Increasing your energy level
Happy Massaging!
