DESIGNER DAILY: Bliss Lau
May 04, 2012 - by Jessica Lapidos
Leather stripped body jewelry is quite on point. In fact, it's pure bliss. After five years of designing handbags, Bliss Lau began draping her leather scraps on an old mannequin from her Parsons days. What formed were skirts, shirts, vests, arm pieces, of leather strips connected by chains, that move with the shape of the human body. Using her learned eco-friendly bag-making techniques, she constructs extremely versatile and incredibly unique body adornments. See how they sway on spinning ballerinas in this stunning film.
