Designer Daily: Masataka Masumura for Giuliano Fujiwara
Feb 23, 2012 - by Jessica Lapidos
Giuliano Fujiwara shocked Milan when he introduced the concept of minimalism back in 1986, a time when Italy was a nation upheld by Versace and Valentino. Now a new innovator Masataka Masumura is revving up the brand with its new form minimalism. The Fall 2012 collection is based on the Japanese Wabi Sabi philosophy of transience; that beauty is found in imperfection, impermanence, and incompletion. With that, see his men and women in motion.
