For the 2012 holiday season, Barneys has collaborated with Disney to release the animated short  Electric Holiday  starring Minnie Mouse  that features some of fashion's most famous faces in cartoon form. So far Barneys has kept the names of these industry staples under wraps, but now we have your first sneak peek. 

Our favorite Disney characters include the classics Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy, but who knew that our favorite fashion industry people could be included on that list? For Barneys New York's holiday season, Minnie Mouse got a high fashion makeover and is starring in an animated short along with some cartoon-ified industry professionals.

Sitting front row of the fashion show that stars in Minnie's fashion week fantasy is none other than Alber Elbaz, BryanBoy, Suzy Menkes, Steven Meisel, and Carine Roitfeld. Pictured above is the first sneak peek of the line drawings from Electric Holiday. More big names to appear are Franca Sozzani, Bridget Foley, Glenda Bailey, Emmanuelle Alt, and Sarah Jessica Parker.

Gracing the runway in their own custom designer duds is going to be Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Daisy Duck, Cruelle de Vil, and Snow White. So if the changing temperatures didn't have you excited for the holiday season, than this new bit of Disney fashion magic will animate you even more. Following last year's Gaga Workshop, the Electric Holiday from Disney is one to make both children and your inner child shine with the holiday spirit.
