Remember that time American Apparel CEO/human trash dump Dov Charney was accused of holding one of his employees as a "sex slave" on her 18th birthday, leading to a $260 million lawsuit? Well, a New York state judge has approved a motion by Charney's lawyer to have the case  settled in arbitration, rather than in open court. Everything's coming up Charney!

Charney's lawyer, Stuart Slotnick, was confident that the case will be dismissed in arbitration, stating the claims made by former AA employee Irene Morales "are bogus and frivolous."

Morales apparently sent sexually explicit texts and pictures to Charney, which were made public during the case. I can only assume they will eventually end up in an American Apparel ad campaign.

Meanwhile, Morales' lawyer may appeal the arbitration ruling, but for now Charney can breathe a little easier. When asked about his response to the judge's decision, the Dov responded,I think it speaks for itself.

Does it? Because I can't seem to hear it over the sound of my eyes rolling. But I guess we'll just have to wait to see how this all shakes out. [WWD]
