Elton John and his partner, Canadian filmmaker David Furnish, are new parents!  Their surrogate mother gave birth to a baby boy on Christmas Day in California.

Named Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John, he is the couple's first child.  They tried to adopt an AIDS-infected orphan in Ukraine last year but met government regulations that wouldn't let it happen.  Best of luck to the new Dads!
