Fasting with the Blue Print Cleanse Day 3: Normalcy

Jun 24, 2012 - by Amanda Gabriele

I made it! Three days later, and I am finished with the Blue Print Foundation Cleanse. To be honest, at this point I could go for a couple more days. It really does take time for the body to adjust to a liquid diet, so the third day was just like any other normal day. Minus feeling light and airy, I didn't physically feel more or less tired/energetic than I do on a normal day. You can read all about it in my diary after the jump.

10:13 am - Every morning I wake up feeling like a ton of bricks, like I'm experiencing a terrible hangover. My heads hurts and my body feels super heavy. But those feelings went away with the first green juice yesterday, so I have no doubts about today.

1:50 pm - Drank half my P.A.M. juice on the bus to Rockaway. Just arrived for a beach day!

5:47 pm - Finished my green juice on the beach an hour ago. Feeling a little hungry but drinking tons of water to keep it at bay.

6:09 pm - I'm at Caracas Rockaway and it smells so f*cking good, I can't stand it. All I want it a peril arepa.

6:37 pm - These little kids next to me are eating areas, empanadas and french fries, and I'm about to snatch it up real fast. Is it time for Spicy Lemonade?

7:13 pm - Having my Spicy Lemonade in the car back to Brooklyn. It stayed cold with the ice packs in the bag all day. So tasty too.

9:42 pm - The spicy lemonade really curbs the appetite best of all. Hungry for my 5th juice, planning to take it down at 10.

1:00 am - I finished my last drink! I survived.

2:04 am - In a cab on my way home. Feeling super tired but satisfied of my victory. I actually really wish I could continue the fast for two more days. Next time, I'll make it a five days cleanse. Because that means five Cashew Milks. YUM.
