It's hard to imagine the world of modeling without Kate Moss. Fortunately the whole industry changed as soon as a photographer took these first snaps of the budding 14-year old. Shot by David Ross, three photos of the prepubescent future supermodel are expected to get £1,200 at auction. See the shockingly beautiful images after the jump.

Kate Moss first photos

As a part of Bloomsbury Auction's Photograph sale, the first images shot of legendary supermodel Kate Moss will be auctioned off expecting at least £1,200.

Photographed by David Ross at a ripe age of 14, the photographer spills his first impressions of the fresh face. He reveals, "Kate was a cool character. She seemed like a tough or resilient typical teenager, comfortably fronting me up, perhaps covering up her nerves. I suppose what was refreshing was that she was honest. She wasn't trying to prove anything or act above her station. She didn't try to adopt a model attitude of self-absorption and superiority, which at the time was becoming public via media sensation. She was untarnished. A blank canvas, as other writers have put it."

The prints are dated October of 1988 and will head up for auction November 23rd. Think the images will achieve the heft price tag that's expected? We're surprised that they're not going up for more, considering the career Kate developed post the taking of these photos. Talk about expensive memorabilia.
