Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine barely missed baring her "red carpet" on the red carpet at the Oscars last night.

Florence looked like a creepy, 19th-century bride in her Valentino gown last night (in a good way). However, "It was really see-through," Florence told E! in an interview. And, "I wasn't quite ready to go see-though at the Oscars," she added.

In the end, the singer's lady parts remained hidden from plain sight by flesh-colored slips her people caught the near naked disaster.

Great. Now everyone will have to peek in her window Antoine Dodson-style to behold her pale nakedness.
