Stepping out of the cold rain and into the Roxy summer 2011 collections preview gave me hope that warmer weather will be here sooner than we think. The colorful line is inspired by world travel, and it's easy to see how the ethnic prints and bold embellishments could transport you to the middle of a long summer day along the equator. Sundresses and bikinis hung from a vintage Volkswagen van while bags and beach towels sat among palm trees, sand and the shade of bright beach umbrellas. Made-to-order breakfast tacos and fresh horchata kept bellies occupied as eyes glazed-over thinking about sunnier days, big ocean waves and the fun, sexy Roxy collections.
