If anything Madonna is a
shrew shrewd businesswoman and a busy woman at that. So while she's circling the globe as part of her MDNA tour, Madge decided to kill two birds with one stone and shoot the ad campaign for her Material Girl label.
New Material spokesgirl Georgia May Jagger took the stage at Long Island's Nassau Coliseum during the pop queen's rehearsals in May for the ad campaign, which breaks this August in the likes of Seventeen, Cosmopolitan and Teen Vogue.
For Jagger, the shoot was like a catwalk down memory lane. I spent a lot of my childhood backstage hanging out around amps, the 20-year-old model, famously the rock & roll progeny of Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall, told WWD. That was where we chilled when we were younger. So this photo shoot brought back a lot of memories.
Further blurring the lines between concert and commerce, Material Girl will also give away pit tickets to Madonna's shows once she Vogues her way to the U.S. [WWD]
