Macy's is in a European state of mind, it seems. Following collections by Brit designers Kinder Aggugini and Matthew Williamson in February and April, respectively, and -- kaiser on a roll -- Karl Lagerfeld's collection launching in September, Macy's next collabo is allegedly with noted Italian fox, Giambattista Valli.
The involvement of the four designers is part of an effort to bring more "fashion excitment" and younger customers to Macy's Impulse department, which sells brands like BCBG Max Azria, Free People and Kensie.
Though Macy's has yet to confirm the news -- according to one of their sassy reps, "We have not announced the next designer and do not comment on speculation. -- Vallis' one-off collection is expected to hit stores in November. [WWD]
