Glamour Editors Debut On OpenSky
Aug 15, 2012 - by Céleste Hermione
Glamour editors Tracey Lomrantz and Laurel Pantin are launching on their own lines on OpenSky! Find out more about this exciting collaboration after the jump.
OpenSky can most generally be described as an online shopping experience website--basically it tailors online shopping to your needs and interests by suggesting products you may like, based on simple surveys you complete upon signing up for it.
The creative force behind OpenSky are "insiders" who offer you 'bolts of inspiration' on a daily basis. The idea is to 'connect' with your favorite insiders, and be afforded with their 'personal' favorite products available online. Today, the two Glamour editors Tracey Lomrantz and Laurel Pantin, are coming out with their own lines, Neon & Neutral and Neo-Western.
According to Glamour's editor Laurel Pantin, As a native Texan, I grew up with Western overload. But in the new minimalist, updated form that its showing up in this fall, I'm really feeling it. Modernize your idea of cowgirl chic with pieces that hint at the Wild West without screaming YE-HAW!
Tracey Lomrantz has the hots for neon: Not-so-shocking news here: Neon is having a major moment, from the runway to the sidewalk, and we Glamour gals have fallen hard for the hot hues. Jason Wu and Nanette Lepore s ladylike interpretations sent me digging around in my closet for inventive new ways to wear the bold trend, and Im pretty sure I zeroed in on the perfect formula for pulling it off in that not-too-wild, not-too-subtle sweet spot. Neon, meet neutrals! Theyre as complementary as peanut butter and jelly, and a little bit goes a long way."
