The CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund winners were revealed at a dinner at Center548 in Chelsea Tuesday night. This year's grand prize was taken home by Greg Chait of The Elder Statesman. Jennifer Mayer Maguire of Jennifer Meyer and Tabitha Simmons were the runner-ups.
The Elder Statesman took home a prize of $300,000 along with mentoring from the fund and the two runner-ups took home $100,000. Past winners include Joseph Altuzarra, Billy Reid, Alexander Wang, and Proenza Schouler. This year's top prize was selected from an elite assortment of finalists; Sunos Max Osterweis and Erin Beatty; A.L.C.s Andrea Lieberman; Assembly New Yorks Greg Armas; Giuliettas Sofia Sizzi; Illestevas Justin Salguero, Daniel Silberman and Alina Silberman; Jennifer Fisher, and Wes Gordon.
Christopher Bailey of Burberry hosted the night's events and if previous winners of the Fund indicate anything, then we are about to see a lot of The Elder Statesman. Even runners-up have historically been successful post participating in the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, but truly only time will tell.
The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists will have a pop-up shop in Nordstroms department stores located in major cities. Check out where the closest one is to you here.
