Do harem pants make men look cool or like fools?

I was styling a photoshoot this weekend and pulled some Agnes b. harem pants. When I handed them to the model he thought they felt amazing, but asked if they were for men or women. I definitely pulled them from the men's rack but that got me to think: Is is cool to wear drop crotched pants?

So this is going to be eerily similar to my post about men wearing leggings. This one differs a tad because I think these are wider accepted than men in tights. These were super trendy last summer among stylish ladies and have started gaining more mass appeal this summer. I am in love with the shape of these trousers. I will admit that they can give people the appearance that they are wearing a saggy diaper, but the upside is that they are super comfortable, like fashionable sweatpants.
