Oscar The Grouch Vs. The Yeti: New Controversy Over Louboutin Boots
Sep 26, 2012 - by Céleste Hermione
We can't tell if this is a joke or not, but this 'Daf Booty' is on Christian Louboutin's website. How much would you pay to look like Oscar the Grouch?
Apparently, under this green matted madness lies the classic "Daffodile" booty, which, according to Louboutin's site, was worn "exclusively by one of the fashion industry's most photographed icons for years"--we assume they're referring to our favorite Sesame Street character.
At $1,295, we think the only thing more humorous than the appearance of the boot is that it's made of 'Yeti. And, all things considered, we have to assume they mean the actual Sasquash--because that's what it looks like. In fact, we wouldn't be surprised if the Yeti finally revealed himself wearing nothing but these shoes.
So, who really designed these wild booties--Oscar or Bigfoot? While neither icon has released an official statement, we're leaning towards the Siberian Yeti. It wouldn't explain the footprints, but it would explain why the shoes had a few buyers in Russia.
