Suri's Getting a Make-Under Today in Indie Newsroom
Jul 18, 2012 - by Lester Brathwaite
Indie Newsroom is brought to you by Suri's burned look, Vuitton's Hangover hang-up and Lanvin keepin' it real.
- Looks like the Tom Cruse-Katie Holmes divorce is going to be hardest on poor little Suri...'s wardrobe. A source claims that Katie is not having any more of "that inappropriate dress-up and make-up" which was apparently all Tom's doing (shocker). Mom's clamping down on Suri's reportedly $3 million wardrobe in an attempt to return her to a life of normalcy sans baby training heels, thus leaving Harper Beckham to place her booster seat on Suri's soon-to-be-vacant style throne. [Vogue UK]
- Louis Vuitton really knows how to beat a dead horse. A dead horse it will subsequently turn into a gorgeous handbag that will be knocked off countless times, including in another Hangover sequel, which the luxury brand will try to sue repeatedly if and when this current "not plausible" lawsuit ever comes to an end. [The Cut]
- For all its unnecessary griping, Vuitton still proves quite popular editorially with its spring collection throttling the competition with 88 magazine covers. [Fashionista]
- Alber Elbaz used "real people" -- from ages 18 to 80 -- for Lanvin's fall ad campaign, lensed by Steven Meisel. [WWD]
- Watch Raf Simons discuss his triumphant Dior debut. [Telegraph]
- Then watch some designers discuss their collaboration with Target and Neiman Marcus for their highly-anticipated holiday collection. [Style]
