INTERVIEW: John Mayer, Rolling Stone, February 2010
Jan 28, 2010 - by Ann Marie Trietley, Factory Girl

In the latest issue of Rolling Stone, John Mayer showcases his tattoos, slightly-schitzophrenic ramblings and extensive collection of vintage watches and Japanese sneakers.
The article, written by journalist Erik Hedegaard with striking photos by Mark Seliger, pulls us into Mayer's world. It's a world where the crooner says things like, "Blowing me off is the new sucking me off!" while he goes on to depict a life of lonlieness, possessed by an endless search to find his perfect girl, one who doesn't leave him hanging.
Oddly enough, Mayer could pick out and name a girl's Child perfume at the Chateau Marmont, and says he has a large collection of women's handbags.
He only drinks in L.A. (scotch) not New York City, because, "On the West Coast in the morning, it's like Bob Dylan with a coffee; on the East Coast, it's socialites getting penicilin shots."
He also said, "I have masturbated myself out of problems in my life," and "Before I make coffee, I've seen more butt holes than a proctologist does in a week."
He even owns a bulletproof vest and an assault rifle, just because he can!
Maybe he's more than just a simple whiney, angst-ridden playboy... but of course he's TOTALLY getting full of himself, and he's just...weird.
