In what may be the best cover we have seen in months, 91 year old style icon Iris Apfel stars on the cover of Dazed and Confused and we are obsessed.

Advanced Style is a fashion blog written by Ari Seth Cohen that focuses on older women who give zero f*cks about fashion and personal style norms. 91-year old Iris Apfel is featured frequently on this blog and now the magazine Dazed and Confused has decided to make her their cover girl.

Shown in various looks by Commes Des Garcon, Iris shuts this editorial down much like a supermodel and less like our grandmother. Although experience has proven that our grandmothers should in fact can be our greatest style inspirations, Iris and the Advanced Style ladies are showing that your sense of style only solidifies as you age. 81-year old Carmen Dell'Orecice took the runway for Norisol Ferrari and several other shows during this past New York Fashion Week and are sensing a trend in fashion that is leaning towards fashion accepting aging beauty.
