Let the reinvention of Katie Holmes begin!

Now that she's finally plotting her escape from the Scientology compound otherwise known as her marriage to Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes is getting her groove back.

The sometime actress is prepping Holmes & Yang's first ever presentation at New York Fashion Week come September. Launched in 2009 in conjunction with stylist Jeanne Yang, Holmes & Yang is available exclusively at Barneys New York.

While her personal life will no doubt be thrust into a whirlwind of drama, lies and occasional brainwashing, a spokeswoman for Holmes & Yang assures that the line won't be affected.

And hopefully, Holmes will come out the other end of the media storm clad in couture and clutching an Oscar -- as Cruise's exes are wont to do. [WWD]
