Kelly Osbourne has replaced Taylor Momsen as the face of Material Girl, Madonna and daughter Lourdes's clothing line for Macys. Apparently they want to go for a different image, perhaps one that didn't look like it was dragged through a landfill of cigarettes, eyeliner and bad attitude.

The label's blog announced on January 11th that they were "desperately seeking" a new Material Girl and yesterday they confirmed that Kelly was indeed  their Lucky Star:

"We are so thrilled to announce Kelly Osbourne is the the new face of Material Girl for 2011! Weve had a long time crush on Kelly and featured her as one of our 'cool peeps' over the summer."

Not only is Kelly someone young girls can and should look up to as a style icon, but she's not likely to flash her boobs in a half-hearted attempt at so-called rock rebellion.

At least not these days. She's a lady now.
