Who Wore it Better: Lady Gaga or Elizabeth Hurley
Oct 03, 2012 - by Emily Draznik
Yesterday we showed you Lady Gaga and Donatella Versace at the Palazzo Versace before the designer hosted a dinner in the pop-star's honor. Gaga was the first to enter the vintage archives of Versace since Gianni's death and decided to don the iconic safety pin dress that Elizabeth Hurley made famous back in 1994. Who do you think wore it better?
Lady Gaga is one to take fashion risks, but the singer recently donned an iconic dress from the vintage Versace archives that British actress Elizabeth Hurley made famous. The question is, "who wore it better?". Hurley was the first to truly bring punk inspired fashion to the red carpet and Gaga has been known to rock groundbreaking looks, but does she make the dress as iconic as the first time it was worn?
The answer is unfortunately no. No one can top how flawless Hurley looks in this dress and the repercussions from her making this red carpet rick are historic. On Gaga it looks like a cry for attention and Hurley's insane body versus Gaga's more voluptuous frame is incomparable. Nice try Gaga. Usually we love your risk taking ways, but you should know better and let sleeping fashion icons lie.
