It's going to be a haute  year on the international pop superstar tour circuit. While Madonna will be wearing Jean Paul Gaultier and Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci on her upcoming MDNA tour, her monstrous mini-me Lady Gaga has turned to Giorgio Armani for her Born This Way Ball tour, kicking off April 27 in Seoul, Korea. 

Collaborating with Lady Gaga is always an exciting experience for me, the legendary designer said. I admire the way she uses fashion as a scenic element and as a means to build a character. She is an artist of many talents and great intelligence.

Gaga's custom costumes come complete with gloves with mirrored nails, a black bodice covered in Plexiglas guitars,  a boat-load of studs, spikes, latex and Swarovski crystals -- it's called show business for a reason, kids -- and of course, nary a pant.

Meanwhile, I'll take one in every color. [WWD]
