When even a model whose entire career is based around walking the runway in heels cant bear to wear your shoes, it may be time to rethink your footwear designs.

Apparently for Lanvins Spring 2011 presentation, only a handful of wobbly girls could manage to keep the agony from showing in their faces, forcing Alber Elbaz to make a last-minute switch to flats on the runway.

That wont stop Lanvin from selling the overpriced torture devices, of course, and the heels will be available for purchase this spring. Yay! Another pair of unworn shoes to sit at the back of our closet.
