LAVUK: From Molecular Biologist to Fashion Designer

You couldn't tell by looking at them, but the clothes of LAVUK are entirely eco-friendly and sustainable. You also likely couldn't tell that the designer studied science in college, not fashion. Natasha Gindin, however, is doing this her own way. A way that involves a fresh take on jacket structures, sheers, cutouts, mullet shirts and vivid solids, all engineered to be the softest on your skin. Curious about the biology background, we asked her some questions. And, oh yeah, she also plants a tree for every garment sold
