Shopbop's former Fashion Director, Kate Ciepluch, has been found making buzz-worthy blazers in NYC under the name Laveer. 

After using her keen trendspotting eye at Shopbop for years, and for guest editing at Vogue Nippon, the New York Times, Glamour, Lucky, Elle.com and Style.com, and consulting with major contemporary brands, she decided to launch her own collection. It's starting with a line of blazers for Barneys, sold for around $465. It's entirely made in New York City's Garment Center, and with some multi weave effect, they seem to be very versatile.
