M.I.A. Found: Western Heritage Hats with a Glitzy Past
Jul 31, 2012 - by Jessica Lapidos
Bailey of Hollywood has been found making superfine quality hats in Los Angeles.
Historically, George S. Bailey made these high quality hats strictly for movie stars, oil tycoons and the upper crust of California. Bailey of Hollywood's mission was to turn the western hat into a luxury item, and they're still at it out in Los Angeles where it all started in 1922. Now, with crushable/non-wrinkle hats, and the finest straw Panama hat at $900, we remember why Cary Grant, Humphrey Bogart and Bing Crosby swore by them.
