One of old Hollywood's most iconic names faces Grace Kelly. The Princess of Monaco was a style icon who starred in movies along with Carey Grant, Clark Gable, Frank Sinatra, and James Stewart. It was only a matter of time before Hollywood decided to make a movie about the famous starlet and now we have your first snapshot of Australian actress Nicole Kidman  playing the infamous Miss Kelly. 

Grace Kelly was a famous actress most well known for her roles along acting greats such as James Stewart in Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window and with Carey Grant in To Catch a Theif. The actress was known for her impeccable style and marriage to Prince Rainer III of Monaco. After the silver screen star's death in 1982, the world got a little less glamorous and it was only a matter of time before Hollywood decided to make a tribute.

Grace of Monaco is a film starring Nicole Kidman as Grace Kelly and your first look at the actress in her role is pictured above. The movie is set to chronicle during 1962 when the city of Monaco battled with France and Kelly served as a monarch. Slated to release in 2014, the film also stars Tim Roth, Parker Posey, and Milo Ventimiglia. Directed by Olivier Dahn of La Vie en Rose, the film's topic alone looks to be Oscar worthy.

The first image of Kidman is not only shockingly similar to Kelly's appearance, but it's making us wish 2014 wasn't a year and a half away. Until then you'll can find us in our apartments watching a triple Hitchcock feature of Rear Window, Dial M For Murder, and To Catch a Thief. Maybe we'll even invite Miss Kidman herself.
