It's a pretty sweet Saturday afternoon, and what better way to start a night out on the town then feeling accomplished by applying for an internship position at one of these pretty respectable companies. If you're a fashion feen and dream of that one day glamorous fashion job... well, you have to start somewhere. Here are the top 6 internships of this week. Company: Harper's Bazaar Photo Internship
Harper's BAZAAR is looking for motivated interns to work in the Photo & Bookings Department for the Fall 2011 semester.
Interns will gain valuable experience in photo production.
Responsibilities include researching/scouting locations and props for photo shoots, assisting with castings, researching new models, updating databases and files (for photographers, models, hair stylists, makeup artists, locations/travel), organizing high volume of imagery, researching photos for editorial stories and shoots, coordinating portfolios and photo returns, magazine mailings, and general administrative work.
Candidate must have a photography background, be proficient with digital cameras, Photoshop and InDesign, and have a visual sensibility and an interest in fashion.
Intern needs to be a self-initiator and quick learner who is extremely organized, detailed-oriented, resourceful, and can multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment. He or she must possess good communication skills and have a professional attitude.
Interested applicants need to commit a minimum of 2 full days a week (hours: 10 am to 6 pm) and are available to start in September to continue until December.
Academic credit is required without exception. The internship is non-paid.

Company: MediaBistro.com needs an Editorial Intern
Mediabistro.coms growing editorial department seeks ambitious interns to assist its news and features team. Intern will assist department with copy editing, article production and story research. Learn about the world of digital journalism by gaining practice with HTML, blogging, social media and viral marketing and cover media events for our blogs. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about having the opportunity to gain experience in writing, copy editing and reporting according to AP style. He or she should also be familiar with our content and have a passion for all things media. Familiarity with HTML and blogging platforms is preferred. The primary duties involve up-to-the-minute media research, fact-checking, frequent contact with publicists, and transcribing interviews. Secondary duties involve idea development as well as general office and administrative responsibilities. Candidates must have strong typing, English and communication skills. English, journalism, American studies, and film majors are encouraged. Knowledge of proofreaders marks, Microsoft Word, and American popular culture (film, music, art, literature and fashion) are also a plus.

Condé Nast is offering a highly competitive and educational internship for the Fall 2011 at LUCKY MAGAZINE/Accessories Department. Candidates should have a keen interest in the multi-media industry and should be at least a college sophomore who will be able to receive credit for participating in this program. The Fall 2011 Intern Program will allow students to gain exposure to the industry and will provide a real-world experience that can be a supplement to classroom studies.
