#NYFW Cheat Sheet: Costello Tagliapietra
Feb 09, 2012 - by Jessica Lapidos
On the second floor of MILK Studios (the oft preferred alternative to Lincoln Center), newlyweds Jeffrey Costello and Robert Tagliapetra showed their Fall 2012 collection in a rush of coral reef-like prints and soothing colored draping. Having been together 17 years, their marriage didn't change anything too drastically. In fact, the were in love before they went into business. In such happiness, they also give back to Mama Earth by using AirDye to color their fabrics; they don't use water, which typically harbors toxins and releases them into water sources. Wich such positivity in their world, Jeffery's watercolor paintings of chrysanthemums blossomed into a Costello Tagliapietra collection that delights.
