At FashionIndie, we love ourselves a good unexpected collaboration. So call us tickled when we found out that the creative director behind Opening Ceremony has teamed up with a classic brand Cole Haan to create an adorable shoe line. 

Cole Haan is about to step up their trendsetting game by hiring it-girl Jen Brill and the VP of creative at Opening Ceremony, Olivia Kim,  to design some vividly bright footwear for fall 2012. Three shapes were used from the brand's Chelsea collection and the girls amped up the style with some color blocked suede in bright colors.

The Jen & Oli collection will be available to shop on September 10th at Cole Haan's Soho store, Opening Ceremony in London, L.A., and New York and then at other special locations. Inspired by creating a comfortable day-to-night shoe, the designer pair wanted to create shoes using colors that Cole Haan wouldn't traditionally use. These three styles, which retail for $528 and $548, are really giving the traditional footwear brand the kickstart to fall fashion that it needs and we're excited to see if the footwear brand has any other creative collabs up its sleeve.
