The countdown to the end of the world as we know it -- the last episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show -- now includes a rare interview with Ralph Lauren.

This Wednesday, Oprah will be "on location" -- I love when she pretends to be a journalist -- in Colorado at Lauren's Telluride ranch for the fashion icon's first television interview in 20 years.

While there, O will ride about the Ralph ranch in a 60-year-old jeep, discuss the designer's past and future as well as catch up with the Lauren brood including wife Ricky and the kids, David, Dylan and Andrew.

All the while, Gayle will be chopping wood for the outdoor barbecue planned for later in the evening. [WWD]
