Pamela Love Creates a Seriously Covetable Collaboration for Nine West

Sep 28, 2012 - by Emily Draznik

Jewelry designer Pamela Love is branching out for the first time into footwear with Nine West. And the results are flat out amazing.

Pamela Love Nine West

Pamela Love did not show this past season at New York Fashion Week, but she did host a free tattoo parlor with designs inspired by her Spring 2013 collection. To make up for her absence from fashion week, she has ventured for the first time into the world of footwear. Her three piece collaboration with Nine West is not only reminiscent of her signature style of jewelry, but is actually wearable for everyday.

Love drew inspiration for her collaboration from rocker Jennifer Herrema. She created three styles of a classic motorcycle boot (originally created by Yves Saint Laurent and Harley Davidson) embellished with her own take on the steel toe trend. The toe features one of her signature jewelry motifs etched out of the metal and the style is offered in black, brick, or dusty clay.

Love stated, When I think of the Pamela Love girl, shes probably not wearing six-inch heels or strappy sandals. Shes sort of tough, sort of fashion-forward, sort of practical. She wants a pair of shoes that she can wear to death and beat to the ground..

Sign us up. While the seasons change from fall to winter usually sooner than we anticipate, we'll be on the hunt for the a pair of boots that are the perfect balance between fashionable and practical. Luckily the search was short because we think we've already found them courtesy of Pamela Love.
