Hailing from that foreign land known as New Jersey, but a New Yorker most of her life, photographer Gail Hadani is inspired by the drama of opera and the romance of fine art. No wonder since she was proficient at both before ever picking up her camera. Deemed a child painting prodigy, Hadani later moved onto the operatic stage where she performed all the greats -- Mozart, Puccini, Verdi. Once she retired her scales, she began incorporating photography into her love of the brushstroke and since then her work has appeared in Harper's Bazaar, Cosmopolitan and Zink among others.
