The Superbowl is 3 days away but we all know the only bowl we care about is not about football.  It's about puppies.  The Puppy Bowl features 59 MVP puppies playing football to raise awareness about adoption, but it doesn't stop there. More details of other animals participating and adorable pics of the starting lineup after the jump!

The Puppy Bowl is really simple: drag a chew toy into the end zone of a miniature football field and that's a touchdown.  The cute continues with a cheerleading squad of 5 piglets, a bird perched next to a Blackberry tweeting the game details (@MeetTheBird), and a kitty cat halftime show! We would have chosen DJ Panda Pupstep.
