Have you ever bumped into a girl with the most amazing flowers in her hair and wondered how she does it? Us too! Check out our how-to after the jump.

We spotted Marcos Diaz backstage at the Pencey / Pencey Standard / Mia Moretti x Pencey S/S 2013 presentation neatly putting flowers into a models hair. We rushed over to see how it was done and demanded he gave us three tips on how to style it correctly! Here is what we got:

Step one

Getting started - create a center part and tie each side so you end up with two ponytails. Ideally, you should start the ponytails behind your ears, then braid them to the bottom.

Step two

Securing it - bobby pin both pony tails to your hair so they serve as an anchor. This will make it easy to secure the flowers.

Step three

Add the pretty pick a flower and start pinning!

 Marcos says - Fresh flowers are always best. They do fall a part but thats whats beautiful about it!
