Well it's about goddamn time. Dior has confirmed that recently ousted Jil Sander creative director Raf Simons will replace John Galliano as its head of couture.

After over a year of speculation and conjecture, Dior finally has named Simons the artistic director of haute couture, womens ready-to-wear and accessories collections -- his official title. Simons will make his debut in July during Paris Couture Week.
