Real Women Rock the Runway and Look Good While Doing it

Unlike Lanvin's definition of real women, celebrity stylist Derek Warburton hosted the "Real Fashion, Real Runway" r unway show featuring Kate Gosselin, Aviva Drescher, Shontelle, and Jaslene Gonzales where truly real women worked the catwalk in style.

Benefiting the Bottomless Closet, celebrity stylist Derek Warburton hosted the "Real Fashion, Real Runway" show where 21 "real" women wore designers such as Nicole Miller and Marchesa at the Empire Hotel in New York City.

Bottomless closet is an organization that helps women who have fallen on hard times get back on their feet by assisting their transition into the working world. They provide professional interview attire, resume/interview preparation, and workshops that develop financial management skills for their clientele. And Derek, who has been helping bottomless closet for the past five years, hosts a seminar for the charity entitled "How to be Derek Fabulous" that prepares the women for job interviews.

At the event, singer Shontelle performed her single Impossible and celebs like Kate Gosselin, Aviva  Drescher, and Jaslene Gonzales walked on the runway with 21 women from Bottomless Closet. The successful event was an inspiration to all that attended as Bottomless Closet and Derek Warburton proved that women of any shape or size from any background can become supermodels for a night and feel as fabulous as they are on the inside. Flip through the rest of the shots for the night and be sure to donate to Bottomless Closet  so they can put on more events similar to this one.
