Where do fashion labels go when they die?

The latest fashion roadkill, Obedient Sons and Daughters had been one of the more promising up-and-coming indie labels since their launch a couple years ago. Last year they placed as finalists in the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, and they had decent support from the Hollywood hipster set.

But reportedly, their main investor, Mike Dirnt (yes, the Green Day bassist), "hasnt provided sufficient capital to support the brands growth."

On the up side, the husband and wife duo behind the brand, Swaim and Christina Huston (above) are working on a new, as-yet-unnamed collection. It's set to debut at their February 14 show.

This is a huge risk for us, but we feel that it takes us in the right direction," Christina said about the new project. "We are extremely passionate about what we do and truly look forward to our new focus.
