Royal Baby Alert! Catherine Duchess of Cambridge is Pregnant
Nov 16, 2011 - by Jessica Lapidos
OMG! PRINCE WILLIAM AND CATHERINE DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE ARE HAVING A BABY!! Who knew we'd be this excited? Hello maternity clothes! (again, didn't think we'd be excited about that either, but here we are). Granted the news comes from InTouch. Which, to its credit, was spot on about the royal honeymoon locale and the Queen's wedding present. Royally impressed. According to this "royal source", Kate Middleton is 6 weeks pregnant! Is it a boy or a girl?! Twins?! Find out everything we know here.
On a press trip in Denmark on November 2nd, Catherine "complained of nausea, avoided alcohol, couldn't stomach fish and seemed to be keeping a wonderful secret." She also carried a little plastic container of sliced bananas to a press conference. No pickles to note yet.
It's too soon to report the sex of the child, but rather progressively, Prince William really wants a girl. And he wants her to be born in June, right during the Queen's jubilee festivities.
The rumor mill is spouting whispers of twins. If that's the case, they'll be fighting their way down the birth canal, for the first one out gets the crown.
That same fountain of rumors is also speculating that we actually know what William and Kate want to name the baby(ies): Edward, Philip or Michael, if it is a boy, and Alice or Rose for a girl. Lovely names, kids, but only time will tell if we know anything at all.
