Senate Looking for Cat Fur Coats

Dec 09, 2010 - by Josh Linam

The Senate has approved a new bill, which would require manufacturers to label what kind of fur they use.

If approved by Obama, it might just change your shopping habits.

(The next time you grab a varmint fur coat for 90 percent off at K-Mart you'll know it'sa ferret/cat blend.)

The bill applies to any fur valued under $150.

I'm not sure this is a good thing or bad thing. Do I really want to know I'm buying a ferret/cat coat?
